Note to Teachers

The material in this curriculum packet is a conglomeration of material from a wide
variety of sources and material created just for this curriculum. If I quoted directly from
a source, it is cited on that page. The bibliography (on the last page in this packet) is a
good resource for you to do further research. I do not claim (nor recommend) that you
use the lesson plans provided as they are directly written. Each class is different, each
teachers’ need is different. Please adjust these lessons to your needs and class
structure. I arranged the material in sections divided by title pages. Some sections do
not contain student activities. These sections are usually filled with information just for
the teacher in hopes that they will use the information to prepare their students for a
visit to Copshaholm.

Because of the limitation of space and cost, this collection will not include everything
on every covered topic. I assume that the curriculum included in this packet will ‘spark’
your creativity and you will further develop the lessons and activities included herein.

As always, if you have questions, suggestions, or comments please contact me at
anytime.

Sincerely,
Travis Childs
