Other School Tours
Cemetery Tours
As Arranged
A unique and exciting way to learn about our
community's history is by taking a guided
tour of one of the many cemeteries in our
region.
Students will visit the final resting places of
local politicians, business leaders, inventors,
statesmen, and interesting historical citizens.
These tours are led by Travis Childs,
Director of School Programs, and are
scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis,
usually anytime in the spring, summer, or
fall.
This tour also helps instill pride in our community and has been shown to
curb vandalism, a growing plight in local cemeteries.
Changing Exhibit Programs
Special school programs are designed around the changing exhibits on
view throughout the year at the Center for History.
