The Roaring Twenties was an era of flappers, speakeasies, and jazz. Prohibition had outlawed liquor, but passwords got you into secret clubs that were jumping and jiving. Experience it all at the Bootleggers’ Bash! Dance the Charleston, enjoy Gin Rickeys, Mary Pickfords, and other drinks of the ‘20s, and stroll through the exhibit Spirited: Prohibition in America. A complimentary beverage and light hors d’oeuvres are included in the ticket price. Must be 21 and over to attend. Tickets are $16/general and $14/members. She will make special stops in key areas of the exhibit, including what led to Prohibition, how the 18th Amendment was passed, and why the 1920s roared. The tour is limited. A tour of the exhibit Spirited: Prohibition in America will be offered. Admission is $3 or $1 for members. Reservations are required by March 11.
