Insights in History – Moving an 1820s Log Cabin

June 4 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

In 2024, the 1820s Navarre Cabin—the oldest structure in St. Joseph County–was carefully relocated to The History Museum’s campus. Deputy Executive Director Kristie Erickson will explore how the move took place and describe the cabin’s future, including the museum’s vision to interpret pioneer history in a more historically accurate context. A tour of the Navarre Cabin will be offered. Admission is $3 or $1 for members. Reservations are required by June 2. Insights in History is sponsored by THK Law, LLP.
