The Board may formally bestow the designation Honorary Trustee upon certain former Trustees of the Board in recognition of their extraordinary service and devotion to the Society. To be considered, a Trustee must have completed at least three (3) terms, including committee leadership, and have provided leadership for a significant museum accomplishment. The Board may formally bestow the designation Honorary Trustee on other individuals in recognition of their extraordinary service and devotion to the Society. Honorary Trustees of the Board are encouraged to attend Board meetings, but they shall not be entitled to vote at any such meetings.
